 Day 3, Week 1
First Writing Assignment

Write a short biography of your best friend.

Good friends are hard to come by, even rarer is when they are also your wife.  Jordon Nichols was born in Erie on June 21, 1979 to Merrie and Steve Blair.  She then was brought home to Wilson Rd. in north east where she lived until college and her first marriage.  After that marriage came apart, she moved back home with her newborn son Ripley and has lived there since.

Jordon and i met at a Magic: the Gathering tournament in Corry, and we became fast friends.  when high school ended for us, we both moved to Pittsburgh for school and met back up there.  we spent a lot of time together, walking all over the city and drinking lots of coffee.

After college, we went our separate ways, only to meet back up 7 years later.  since then we have been inseparable.  We do everything together and enjoy every minute.  It is comforting knowing that when i get home from a long day at work, we can curl up on the couch to watch a movie, or shoot zombies, and either way is just fine.  Jordon is very important to me, she is my rock, best friend, and certainly my better half.  I don't know what i would do without her.

I find it is very hard for me to write like this.  Even though this was all about Jordon, someone i share every minute of my life with, i struggled to get it all down.  Well i suppose that's what fiction is for!

Day 1, Week 1

I am restarting my writers devotional today, it begins on Monday (which is today) and Mondays are "Writers on Writing" which gives examples of how past authors handled different scenarios.  today was about "Why to Begin Writing", I do not really need any motivation to begin writing, but there is always a beginning.

Tuesdays are Motivation, which is as it sounds, motivation to get the ball rolling.

Wednesdays are the first writing day of the week, usually a short prompt you can write fast, as you may not always have time to write something huge every day.  i know my Wednesdays are a little cramped for time.

Thursday is editing, which gives tips on editing your own work.

Friday is bios which gives a bio of famous authors and tells a little about where they came from.

Saturday is books writers should read.  no explanation necessary

Sunday is another writing day.

So let's see how this works out, i know that November will be a little post light as that's NanoWriMo.  Hopefully i will have a story idea in time to get some foundation work done.

I MUST FINISH MY NOVEL THIS YEAR!!!
